Advantech WebAccess Node, Version 8.4.4 and prior, Version 9.0.0. Multiple relative path traversal vulnerabilities exist that may allow an authenticated user to use a specially crafted file to delete files outside the application’s control.

This may allow an attacker to upload a file with bad compression, consuming all the available CPU resources, leading to a denial-of-service condition.

The affected product lacks proper authentication required to query the server on the Ignition 8 Gateway (versions prior to 8.0.10) and Ignition 7 Gateway (versions prior to 7.9.14), allowing an attacker to obtain sensitive information.
