In the standard library in Rust before 1.50.0, read_to_end() does not validate the return value from Read in an unsafe context. This bug could lead to a buffer overflow.

SerenityOS fixed as of c9f25bca048443e317f1994ba9b106f2386688c3 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in LibTextCode through opening a crafted file.
