A vulnerability has been identified in Parasolid V33.1 (All versions < V33.1.262), Parasolid V34.0 (All versions < V34.0.252), Parasolid V34.1 (All versions < V34.1.242), Parasolid V35.0 (All versions < V35.0.161), Simcenter Femap V2022.1 (All versions < V2022.1.3), Simcenter Femap V2022.2 (All versions < V2022.2.2). The affected application contains an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing specially crafted X_T files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. (ZDI-CAN-17284)

A vulnerability has been identified in JT2Go (All versions < V14.1.0.4), Teamcenter Visualization V13.3 (All versions < V13.3.0.7), Teamcenter Visualization V13.3 (All versions >= V13.3.0.7 < V13.3.0.8), Teamcenter Visualization V14.0 (All versions < V14.0.0.3), Teamcenter Visualization V14.1 (All versions < V14.1.0.4). The affected application is vulnerable to fixed-length heap-based buffer while parsing specially crafted TIF files. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.

In Apache Calcite prior to version 1.32.0 the SQL operators EXISTS_NODE, EXTRACT_XML, XML_TRANSFORM and EXTRACT_VALUE do not restrict XML External Entity references in their configuration, which makes them vulnerable to a potential XML External Entity (XXE) attack. Therefore any client exposing these operators, typically by using Oracle dialect (the first three) or MySQL dialect (the last one), is affected by this vulnerability (the extent of it will depend on the user under which the application is running). From Apache Calcite 1.32.0 onwards, Document Type Declarations and XML External Entity resolution are disabled on the impacted operators.

Rapid7 Nexpose and InsightVM versions 6.6.82 through 6.6.177 fail to validate the certificate of the update server when downloading updates. This failure could allow an attacker in a privileged position on the network to provide their own HTTPS endpoint, or intercept communications to the legitimate endpoint. The attacker would need some pre-existing access to at least one node on the network path between the Rapid7-controlled update server and the Nexpose/InsightVM application, and the ability to either spoof the update server's FQDN or redirect legitimate traffic to the attacker's server in order to exploit this vulnerability. Note that even in this scenario, an attacker could not normally replace an update package with a malicious package, since the update process validates a separate, code-signing certificate, distinct from the HTTPS certificate used for communication. This issue was resolved on February 1, 2023 in update 6.6.178 of Nexpose and InsightVM.
