A memory corruption issue was found in DPDK versions 17.05 and above. This flaw is caused by an integer truncation on the index of a payload. Under certain circumstances, the index (a UInt) is copied and truncated into a uint16, which can lead to out of bound indexing and possible memory corruption.

A vulnerability was found in DPDK versions 19.11 and above. A malicious container that has direct access to the vhost-user socket can keep sending VHOST_USER_GET_INFLIGHT_FD messages, causing a resource leak (file descriptors and virtual memory), which may result in a denial of service.

Perl before 5.30.3 on 32-bit platforms allows a heap-based buffer overflow because nested regular expression quantifiers have an integer overflow.

An issue was discovered in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ through 66.1. An integer overflow, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow, exists in the UnicodeString::doAppend() function in common/unistr.cpp.

A remote adversary with the ability to send arbitrary CoAP packets to be parsed by Zephyr is able to cause a denial of service. This issue affects: zephyrproject-rtos zephyr version 2.2.0 and later versions.

A malicious userspace application can cause a integer overflow and bypass security checks performed by system call handlers. The impact would depend on the underlying system call and can range from denial of service to information leak to memory corruption resulting in code execution within the kernel.
