Adobe Bridge version 11.1.1 (and earlier) is affected by a Null pointer dereference vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve an application denial-of-service in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

An issue was discovered in Softing OPC UA C++ SDK before 5.70. A malformed OPC/UA message abort packet makes the client crash with a NULL pointer dereference.

There is a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in VTK, and it lies in IO/Infovis/vtkXMLTreeReader.cxx. The vendor didn’t check the return value of libxml2 API ‘xmlDocGetRootElement’, and try to dereference it. It is unsafe as the return value can be NULL and that NULL pointer dereference may crash the application.

Web Sockets do not execute any AuthenticateMethod methods which may be set, leading to a nil pointer dereference if the returned UserData pointer is assumed to be non-nil, or authentication bypass. This issue only affects WebSockets with an AuthenticateMethod hook. Request handlers that do not explicitly use WebSockets are not vulnerable.
